The Baskonia Team closed a Spanish Junior Championship to remember with a creditable bronze medal that tastes like a gold after beating Cajasol from Seville in the fight for third and fourth. “We are pleased that we have managed to come back as a group after yesterday’s defeat and overcome the absence of Dani” Coach Dani Encinas states. Without Bordignon, with physical discomfort which had been a key factor in previous games, and trailing a big time disadvantage at halftime, Baskonia players were able to carry out an spectacular comeback and imposing themselves into the contest with a final score of 78-69. “We’ve made them see it was their last chance to play together, they had to enjoy it, give everything they got and dare to do things.
